Transport
Went by coach. Just about summed up industrial Yorkshire where we parked! In a little yard behind the away end, between high walls, barbed wire and factories on all sides!
The infamous little alleyway down to the away turnstiles! Taken in 2012
Food & Drink
Didn’t have time to explore so much, there was a big pub on the corner next to the away end, and the usual pies and stuff inside.
The Main Stand
Inside the Ground
Loved it, just my type of ground! Old, crumbling, low rooves, brilliant!
The Millmoor Lane Stand, sometimes shared with away fans
Atmosphere
It is seemingly accepted by anyone who ever went in the Railway Stand that acoustically, it was probably the best away end in the country. The noise in there was absolutely stunning, you wouldn’t have thought it was possible for 1,500 people to make that level of noise but it was unbelievable. Atmosphere from the home fans wasn’t bad either, coming from all over the ground, rather than just one little pocket.
The Tivoli End
Anything Else
Overall
I loved it in a nostalgic sort of way. An absolute dump, but an endearing one!
