Transport

Hell of a drive, and not a fun one to make on a red hot May Bank Holiday when everyone’s heading to Weston-Super-Mare! But once you reach Yeovil, very straightforward. Signposted early on, on the outskirts of town, and loads of free street parking on Stourton Way. Dead quick getting away too.

Food & Drink

Other than a retail park down the road, not a lot really. The club have a little marquee set up behind the Main Stand, but it was absolutely heaving. Luckily, the food inide was decent, had a very nice chicken & mushroom pie in the ground.

Inside the Ground

Smart little ground. Two small seated stands down the sides, an uncovered terrace for the away fans, and a covered terrace behind the other goal.

Atmosphere

Stunning, to be honest. Okay its probably not that good for a run of the mill league fixture, but on a big occasion or Yeovil, it was absolutely jumping. What made it better too, was it was like a really old school throwback, the terrace was full a good 40 minutes before kick off so everyone could pick their spot, and they were singing for  good hour up until kick off, then it carried on into the game. The Sheffield United fans were there in decent numbers considering the distance and kick off time, but given that they were so far away, had no roof, and the home fans were so loud, cant say I heard anything from them!

Overall

A good little ground and an absolutely fantastic atmosphere.
